Let’s start with Lavendar. This is the swiss army knife of oils. It can help calm you so a lot of people like to use it right before bed to help them fall asleep. It can be used for focus for skin support and for hair growth. Add 1 drop to a new tube of mascara and blend it up real good or add 1 drop per ounce to your shampoo or conditioner.
Peppermint – Peppermint is a gut support oil. It can also help with focus or to help cool you down. You can put a drop in your water for a refreshing drink. You can also add a few drops in a spray bottle full of water to help cool you down during the summer months. It can be good for after a workout as well. However, it is considered a hot oil because it can feel pretty cool on the skin so you’ll want to make sure you use some carrier oil when applying it to make it more comfortable on your skin.
Lemon – This one is considered a detoxifying oil so it’s great in your water to help with gut support. You’ll see lemon is used in many DIY cleaning products because of it’s cleansing properties and it’s great for removing sticky stuff.
Adding Lavender, peppermint and lemon to a diffuser or adding them to a roller ball with carrier oil can really help with seasonal relief.
Next up, Copaiba. This is your enhancer oil. It can magnify the strength of any of the oils you add to it so if you want to take your season relief blend to another level – add some Copaiba. It’s also good for inflammation.
Digize – This one is purely for gut support. So when you need a little digestional relief add a drop to a spoonful of honey and chase with water. It’s not the best tasting oil, but it sure does help get the job done so it’s worth it.
Panaway – Can help relieve muscles after a workout. This one has wintergreen in it so it has a child proof cap to keep the kiddos away. Although the other caps are not child proof you should always keep your oils away from your child’s reach to ensure they are using them only with adult supervision.
R.C. – Your oil for respiratory relief. This one is a blended oil and has all three variations of Eucalyptus sold by Young Living so it will help open up your airway. Put in a diffuser or rub it on your chest.
Thieves – This is your go to for immunity support. When you feel like germs are about to attack your body this is your go to oil. There is a story behind the thieves oil which I will post soon so make sure to check that out.
Purification – This one is my jam! I used it for all things stinky! I put a drop or 2 in my laundry detergent for each load, I use it on my dryer balls, on a cotton ball at the bottom of my garbage can, I diffuse it to neutralize the smell in my house. My favorite use though is putting it on the bottom of my feet to help me have a nuisance free outdoor experience.
Frankincense – The CROWN JEWEL of oils!! Like I want to bathe in this every day! I seriously encourage you to do some research on this oil right here. It is fantastic!! It’s also great for your skin as it supports youthful, healthy skin. Yes, please!!
Last, but not least – Stress away. Just as the name implies this oil helps calm you down so you can focus on tackle your day. You can wear it as a perfume. Just add it to your pulse points like your wrists and behind your ears. You can also add it behind your neck.
