Did you know that we have a line of oils specifically for kids? Well, we sure do! These oils are pre-diluted and ready to be used out of the bottle for ages 2-12. So if you have kids in this age group you’ll want to learn more about these oils so you can help them with a problem that these oils can assist with.
First up SniffleEase. As the name implies this oil is for assisting with the sniffles. I love using this one on my daughter and have had very good success when applying it at the first sign. I add one drop to the bottom of each foot and rub it in focusing mostly on the toes and balls of her feet. Then I rub her chest with whatever is left on my hand.
SleepyIze – This one is great for when you want your kids to have sleepy eyes. This one helps calm your child to get them ready for bed. I have a friend who used this oil along with diffusing a drop of Peace & Calming in her girls room. Her 4 year old was having trouble going to sleep. Some days it would take up to 3 hours to finally get her to bed. Well after using SleepyIze on her feet and diffusing Peace & Calming, night time routine was more like 30 minutes or less. !
Owie – This one is my go to for any skin abrasions and the first oil I used in the kids line. When I started to teach my daughter to swim I would show her to jump in and immediately go to the wall and walk herself to the steps. We spent a little time in our pool practicing and later that day she went to the neighbors pool and did the same thing. Well both of us have concreate around our pools so her little fingers got a little raw. When she came back from swimming with daddy at the neighbors pool she told me her fingers hurt. I didn’t think anything of it because she had been saying that her toe hurt because daddy was having foot issues at the time and she would mimic him by saying parts of her body hurt. Well she kept telling me and finally I checked them out…insert bad mom moment here…I noticed her fingers were raw so I thought to use the Owie oil. I’m very cautious about using oils on her because the oils are magical, but they are also potent so I always start with 1-2 drop no matter what the directions say. I added 1 drop to the worst finger and had her rub her fingers together. After that she didn’t complain anymore. Right before bath time I asked her how her fingers were feeling and they didn’t seem to bother her at all. I was so impressed that it worked so well for. This is when I was sold on the kids line and started using the SniffleEase and SleepyIze.
These are the only oils I have used from our Kids line so far, but there are 2 more I need to cover.
TummyGize – Just like we have Digize for adults, we have TummyGize for kids. Rub this oil on their belly since you are trying to alleviate tummy issues. Like I mentioned I have not used this one so I can’t tell you if this one has worked for my daughter or not, but again every one is different so your child may respond well to this one or they may need other oils like Digize or Aromaease diluted for them or another oil that can assist with digestive support. So even though this oil is made specifically for kids it does not mean it will work for your child so keep that in mind when using any oil. Sometimes it’s a matter of trial and error. Also, this is not an oil you can use internally and I would recommend that you stay away from giving your kids oils internally. Leave that for adult use only.
Geneyus – This oils is to help your child focus. You can rub it behind the ears or on the temples. You can also apply it to the bottom of the feet to the area that is related to the brain which is the big toe. Per the directions, you would use 2-4 drops on the desired area. I would recommend to start with 1-2.
Although the directions say to use topically, these oils can also be diffused. However, I would not diffuse them often simply because they have carrier oils and it may or may not damage your diffuser. I honestly don’t know, but I would be a little more cautious about diffusing any diluted blends.
That’s it. That’s our kids line. These are oils that you can get outside of your premium starter kit. We have, I believe, over 160 oils. I don’t know the exact number, but we have a ton of different oils that are meant for adults (15+) that can be used on kids as long as the proper dilution ratio is used.
