You may be at the point where you think essential oils seem cool, but you are just not sure that you’ll actually use them.
Been there…got the t-shirt. In my story I shared how I got started by purchasing a few oils. I used them for some detox baths and that was it for me. They stayed on a shelf for a while before I actually started to use them. Why? Because the person I got them from wasn’t very helpful. I had absolutely no idea how to use them and I didn’t put in the effort to learn and get myself going either. It wasn’t until I saw a friend posting about them and started asking her questions that I took off. Here’s the thing, you’re in this educational group and I’ve already share some information about how to get started with them. The education doesn’t stop here. We are going to learn how to use oils to help you reduce the toxins in your home, how to use them on pets, how to use them for fitness, how to cook with them and so much more. You will be getting lots of education from me which will help you gain confidence in using your oils. I do this because first I love teaching and secondly because I want you to use them so you can see how incredible they can be for you and your family. I definitely don’t want them collecting dust on a shelf and I’m sure you don’t either. Oh, and you won’t only have this group for education when you get started with your premium starter kit…oh no, no. I will also be adding you to the INCREDIBLE Facebook resource group that we call The Library! It’s jammed packed with testimonials and recipes and it will certainly get you excited to use your oils.
Is there a bit of a learning curve with oils? Yes, absolutely! But, once you figure out what works for you and your body, you will find yourself reaching for them ALL THE TIME!
Here’s what my day usually looks like.
Morning: I use my YL Lavender Mint shampoo which I added cedarwood to to help promote healthy hair. After my shower I use a split end spray I made with essential oils then I add a tiny bit of my YL Lavender Mint conditioner to seal in the oils. It gives it a nice shine without weighing my hair down. I’ve been doing this for a little over a month and my hair has never felt so strong and healthy. Once I get to the kitchen, I add 1-2 drops of lemon or peppermint in my water; sometimes both (1 drop of each). I feel this helps me wake up and feel more alert.
At the office: I diffuse oils based on how I’m feeling or what others around me may need. Like a coworker of mine came in with some respiratory problems. Well, I wanted to help her and I surely didn’t want what she had so in that situation I diffused R.C., Thieves and Lemon (all are oils that come in the premium starter kit). Within minutes she told me how much better she felt. After that, she had to have a Premium Starter Kit. Now she loves using her oils on herself, her mom and her grandkids with great success. !
Afternoons: If it’s been a stressful day, I will apply 1 drop of Stress Away to my temples and wrists to help calm me.
After dinner: I wipe all my kitchen counters with Thieves Cleaner.
Night time: I use my homemade makeup removal wipes, splash some water on my face and apply my homemade face cream (2 drops of each – Purification, Lavender, Frankincense and 1 tsp of coconut oil). I wait 3-5 minutes and wipe the excess coconut oil off my face if needed. I also use peace & calming on my husband to help him sleep well and I diffuse something to help me sleep as well like Lavender, Cedarwood or Peace & Calming.
On the weekends, I like to diffuse something citrusy in the morning to help us wake up and get moving and I love diffusing purification and lemon to help clean the air.
Using the oils has become part of a lifestyle for me. They are my go to when I need some help and I love making DIY products with them that are healthy for me.
Like I’ve said, there are so many uses for essential oils and once you start using them you will be reaching for them all the time too!
